TERMS OF SERVICE
It is understood that upon Registration and Payment to the International TEFL Institute, applicants have read, understood and accepted all terms and conditions as laid out below. Our terms are subject to change.
Refunds will be considered up to 7 days after your purchase if you have not started the course or submitted any assignments. Refunds given will be subject to the deduction of administration, royalties & license fees (up to 50% of the course fee). The International TEFL Institute provides a transparent online resolution procedure for settling disputes.
Students have six (6) months to complete the Certificate and Master Diploma Courses.
Students wishing to extend their course duration may do so at an additional fee. You can only apply for a course extension at any time. Under no circumstances will the International TEFL Institute accept any excuses for failure to complete a course within the allocated time. If you are unable to complete your course within the allocated time frame, you will be required to pay an extension fee should you wish to continue.
The International TEFL Institute is committed to providing you with the very best level of service and satisfaction with your training. This is our commitment and promise to you when you sign up for an International TEFL Institute course.
We promise to:
- Provide a response to your queries or assignment submissions within 72-hours (3 working days).
- Operate an equal opportunities policy.
- Deal with any difficulties you may have with the course promptly and fairly within 48 hours between Monday to Friday.
- Provide access, during the course, to the appropriate expertise and support from our tutors and the International TEFL Institute administration team.
- Provide constructive, individual feedback on your progress.
On Graduation, you will receive an authorized TEFL Certificate under the seal of the International TEFL Institute. The Certificate and Transcript will be sent to you via email — to be printed in colour by yourself on suitable high-quality paper or card. Please note that a hard copy of the TEFL Certificate and Transcript may be requested upon graduation for delivery via registered mail or courier delivery.
The hardcopy certificate will have an embossed seal, original signatures and will be placed in a hard-back envelope. All costs of this additional service are payable by the applicant prior to dispatch. Please note that we do not track the registered mail on your behalf. Please do not ask us for delivery updates as we can only see the same information as you.
Also note that we will not be held responsible for lost or delayed post, especially in countries with an unreliable postal service. If an item is lost/delayed, you will be required to pay for another delivery. *When ordering a hard copy of your certificate, you give permission for International TEFL Institute to pay for the postal service on your behalf. All risks/losses involved with this service delivery are borne by you exclusively and not the International TEFL Institute (as we were acting on your behalf).
Courier delivery is highly recommended especially for countries with an unreliable postal service (e.g. South Africa and certain countries in Asia).
International TEFL Institute courses are non-transferable.
